What we collect
Information you give us
When you request a price through a form on this site, we collect:
- Your name
- Your mobile phone number
- Your property address
- The services you selected (for example mowing, aeration, dethatching, or a fall renovation package)
- The lawn size shown on the pricing tool when you submitted the form, and which page and form you submitted from
If you later text or email us, we keep that correspondence so we can quote, schedule, and complete your work.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site or ad that referred you, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described under Cookies and tracking.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or store payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers, or government identification through this website. We do not knowingly collect information about health, and we do not collect precise device location data.
Why we use it
- To measure your lawn and send you a price. We use your address to measure your lot from publicly available satellite imagery so we can quote without an in-person visit.
- To text you that price and schedule the work.
- To perform and invoice the service you book.
- To answer questions you send us.
- To understand which ads and pages bring in customers, so we spend our advertising budget sensibly.
- To keep the site working and protect it from abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your phone number or address to anyone.
Text messages and your consent
When you submit a form on this site with your mobile number, you are asking us to text you, and you consent to receive text messages from Green Lawn Washington about your quote, your appointment, and your service.
- These are messages about the service you asked about – quotes, scheduling, arrival windows, weather reschedules, and follow-up about work performed.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
- To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message from us. You may also simply tell us to stop, and we will. Replying HELP, or texting the number above, will reach a person.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. If you would rather not be texted, contact us by email instead.
- We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not sell it.
If you opt out of texts, we may still need to contact you about work already scheduled or performed.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies, including small pieces of code placed by the services below. Some are necessary for the site to function; others help us measure advertising.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Meta Conversions API. When you visit this site or submit a form, information about that action – including your IP address, browser information, the page you were on, and the service and city you were viewing – may be sent to Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta uses this to report on our ad performance and to help us reach people with similar interests.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
We use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager and the Site Kit plugin, to understand how people find and use the site. Controlling cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings, and most mobile operating systems offer a setting to limit ad tracking. Blocking cookies will not stop you from getting a price from us – you can always text us instead.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the parties below, and only for the purposes described:
- Hostinger – hosts this website and its data.
- Jobber – our scheduling and invoicing system, which holds customer name, contact details, address, and job history for work we perform.
- Meta Platforms and Google – for the advertising and analytics measurement described above.
- Our notification service – routes new form submissions to us so we can respond quickly.
- Anyone we are legally required to share with, such as in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s independent marketing.
How long we keep it
If you request a price and never become a customer, we keep the request and our texts with you for up to two years, so we can pick the conversation back up if you return. If you become a customer, we keep your service and billing records for as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and recordkeeping obligations – generally seven years. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the schedules set by Google and Meta.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See below.
Your choices and your rights
You may, at any time:
- Ask what we hold about you, and ask for a copy.
- Ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it, except where we must keep records for tax or legal reasons.
- Stop the texts by replying STOP, as described above.
- Opt out of the analytics and advertising tracking using the links in the tracking section.
Text or email us using the details at the top of this page and we will respond. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these choices.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. Tell us your state when you contact us and we will honor the rights that apply to you.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to our scheduling and customer records is protected by individual accounts and passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security – but we do not keep what we do not need, which is the most effective protection we can offer you.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging service for a property. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Where we link to outside resources – for example Washington State University Extension or the USDA soil surveys we cite on our service pages – those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
