Why one visit
The aeration opens up the soil, and that's the best moment to put the seed down. It gets into the openings instead of sitting on top of the thatch. That's why I do them in the same visit.
Premium seed goes down at 5 lbs per 1,000 sq ft - so a 2,000 sq ft lawn gets a full 10 lbs - and starter fertilizer goes down with it.

Add dethatching
Dethatching + aeration + premium overseeding + winterizing fertilizer. The dethatching clears the thatch layer first, so the aeration and the seed are working on bare soil.
I can only take one or two Plus jobs a day - dethatching fills the truck with debris, and it has to be emptied before the next one.

The renovation season runs from early September through mid-November. I schedule in the order requests come in, and Plus jobs fill up first.
Yes. Aeration by itself is $120 up to 2,000 sq ft, plus $15 for each additional 1,000 sq ft, tax included. Most people booking this fall take the package, since the seed and fertilizer go down while the soil is open.
